Remembering Our Soldiers

In a spirit of commitment and sacrifice since 9-11-01, Operation Never Forgotten reminds Americans to never forget what it means to be privileged and free! The Delta Society invited Center’s therapy dog “Bella Rapha” to spend a day at the Anaheim Convention Center with ~1,000 children who have lost a parent in Iraq or Afghanistan. Bella’s job was to play with the children – what a nice assignment.

GOOD SAMARITAN LAW challenged!

California’s Good Samaritan law was recently challenged in the state supreme court. See article Bottom line is that laypersons should stay current in their CPR/First Aid training and act with common sense in an emergency situation. Bottom line for instructors is to provide the most accurate and thorough classes possible with all of the available resources including audiovisual programs, textbooks, equipment according to the most current guidelines.
