Description

Step ONE: Acquire a copy of the 8th edition NRP textbook. This may be accomplished by borrowingone from your hospital library, purchasing a hard copy from the AAP or downloading an eBook fromthe AAP site. Read and comprehend the material before advancing to step two.

Step TWO: Take the online NRP exam. The fee is $45. The 8th edition exam is still available on the AAPsite; however, we strongly recommend that you take the 8th edition exam. This may be accomplished bylogging on to -­‐ www.nrplearningplatform.com

log in and select “Buy a subscription” for access to the test

***Once you start the process you have 14 days to complete the exam and 30 days to complete skills testing.

Step THREE: Preregister for a skills class by either:

logging on to Center for Healthcare Education www.healthcareeducation.org

Step FOUR: Bring your textbook and certificate of completion of the online exam to the course. Class starts promptly on time. Be prepared to actively participate in all skills stations.
